For starters, it's not the typical "Craigslist" used spa you see on the internet. With those used hot tubs you are rolling the dice. We see DOZENS of people coming in after buying a used spa somewhere else needing parts and pieces, information on how to operate them, and a lot of frustration on the customer’s part. All too often we see people spending hundreds, even thousands of dollars getting their “great deal used hot tub” working, only to find that they are still disappointed in performance, energy efficiency, and dependability. And that is why we almost exclusively will only refurbish a Hot Spring portable spa for resell in the Modesto, Stockton and Tracy regions.
How do we refurbish a pre-owned spa from Modesto and Stockton?
The average time we spend on a refurbishment of a pre-owned Hot spring spa is 2 months.
- First, we put the used hot tub on a test stand, raised off the floor, to check for leaks. If there are any leaks we fix them. This process involves draining the spa, finding the leak, doing a repair, and refilling and retesting. Once we have determined there are no leaks we refill the used spa and test all equipment.. air controls, diverter valves, heater and thermostat controls, pump performance, circulation pump, and a host of other components. Anything that is defective, or deemed to be not up to par, we repair or replace the component(s).
- When all repairs are done we check all accessories --- stereo system if it has one, water features, cover lifters, lighting, etc.
- Once all component replacement and repair is done we refurbish the outer skirt, equipment, superstructure and shell.
- Finally, we put it back on the test stand to check everything over one more time. That's how we do used hot tub refurbishing in Modesto!

2001 Hot Spring Sovereign – This spa was a trade-in from a customer who wanted to upgrade to the newer features of the 2010 Hot Spring spa. Seats 6 adults, has a lounge seat with our exclusive Moto Massage jet, and can be connected 110v / 20amp or 220v / 50amp. White Endurol spa shell, Well cared for, with cover Cradle lifter (with hydraulic shock), and thermal cover. --- $4,100.00 – Delivery extra.
1993 Hot Spring Classic – This one is a little older model, but it still has the dual Moto Massage jets. Seats 5-6 adults, and is a 110v / 20amp only. White Endurol spa shell, thermal cover --- $3,200.00 – Delivery extra.
2000 Hot Spring Classic –Jade spa shell with a gray thermoplastic skirt, This spa has “open seating” with two Moto Massage jets. Seats 5-6 adults, and is a 220v / 50amp only. White Endurol spa shell, thermal cover. --- $4,300.00 – Delivery extra.
